Q: How much money has New Moon made in the box office? A: Twilight Sega: New Moon has now made $214,568,151 according to Box Office Moj. That's really sad, you know? My generation will be known overly well for liking stupid movies... The Twilight Series, Harry Potter... Movies that were made for young teen girls are showing up and being liked by half of my generation, then another quarter is pretending they like it so they can get in some chick's pants.... ARGH! And then, the truly great movies that should be getting the actual recognition are ignored and mostly overlooked for this teeny-bopper shit. What ever happened to GOOD movies being top of the box office? The Brothers Bloom Seven Pounds Ink Funny People Moon All wonderful movies, and two of them most of you people have probably never heard of, the rest you've probably heard of, seen ads for, saw the previews before watching some bad movie... But they didn't get the respect they deserved because at the time they came out, there was some sci-fi, overly dramatic piece of shit appealing to teen girls and women who can't let go of their inner teenager and get some fucking taste in movies. On top of that, the number of good movies has dropped incredibly... I'd like to consider myself a bit of a movie buff, I watch almost everything that comes out as soon as I can get a good pirated copy of it. (FREE THE ENTERTAINMENT AND FREE YOURSELVES!) I have a movie collection of roughly 500 movies, most of which I've seen, and a good portion of I've seen more than once. I'll give almost any movie a chance, I gave Twilight a chance and it sucked. I gave Harry Potter a chance, and the movies get better as they go along and the kid gets older, but I don't see Twilight doing that at all... I see it going on and on much like Harry Potter has, but just repeating itself and drawing in teens and sad women from my very own generation and the men trying to penis poke them. All while making multi-millions of dollars to invest into making the next one even MORE pathetic to see slither it's way to the top of the charts and bypass something worthwhile in the process... I am honestly saddened by the lack of taste in society today. Foods have gotten shittier, movies have become so bad I won't pay to see anything in theaters. Music is... Oh my god... WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ROCK MUSIC?! It's all fucking whiny and makes me want to stab the fuck out of the next dude I see wearing female pants and eyeliner with his hair in his face. Bitch, man up and shut the fuck up about your problems on the radio. Music is a different rant for a different time... Society has gone tasteless and stale... And if a movie company puts attractive people in a movie, and advertise it on the Disney Channel, people will flock to it... But the perfectly good movie that is ALREADY in the theaters gets ignored so some idiot can waste $35 -$40 so him and his ignorant girlfriend can watch some fruity vampire dance around with a sparkly face. Please people.... Tell me why things like this appeal to you? I'm asking for some enlightenment here.... Help me out?

#1 i hate disney channel now, Live crap? Screw that i miss the OG disney shows #2 I HATE TWILIGHT!(Does not follow ANY of the vampire storyline, He walks into sunlight and twinkles) (WTF) #3 I miss classic disney movies #4 i ONLY watch movies if i think it would be good by watching it online. #5 I hate gay "Rock" like that, i love metal, rock that has a pouropse rather than kill yourself, Cry that you got dumped or love cutting yourself #6 I dont go to the movies unless my friends want to watch a certain movie so i pay, i dont like spending much money on myself So everything just said is exactly how i feel and i praise you for putting it all in one post "up

	I actually Loved all the Harry potter movies and when i was younger even bac like 6th grade read the books.. always been a fan.. Twilight yes itys fucking stupid but its nowadays sex sells so thats what they work with.. and seven pounds was really good too

	Fuck, sorry I didn't mean to post that yet lol But personally I am a big fan of the Harry Potter series, more so of the books than the movies, just always have been but as far as twilight goes, its just ok. I even went as far as to read all the books for the twilight series but even then I thought it was idiotic.

Not many here i dont think. There is more harry potter fans i bet, Out of all the vampire movies i watch they show the EXACT same storyline where the vampires have to obey the old stories but this is just lame Blade.......... Dracula i mean come on Dracula fell for a mortal but only after he wanted her to be a vampire so that is how its there. Not "I love you as a human lets have a baby" I just dont get it and with High school musical It is centered around a bunch of teen boys taking their shirts off

	I've seen Twilight...it wasn't the best...but I'm a chick and the sexual tension was hard not to watch. Harry Potter I'm a fan of. Have been since I read the books way back in the day. I try not to watch dramatic movies because I fully believe life is dramatic enough but I tend to watch them anyhow...and most are good. ( I tend to cry though. ) For the most part my taste is open though.
