I've had donations for the competitions I've done. 1000 pts from pmd alone on one occasion. Money from other people for mugfests. But there were also the unofficial mugfests where I just forgot I had money out.  And most of the comps I've done have been when the forums were quiet. Whether it's your own cash (Like a lot of people do. No shame in it) Or donated cash it's a way to get people posting. |
