| Being a world leader is not really fun and I will break it down job by job and tell you exactly why it is not fun. First of all no world leaders get paid regularly at all, I think in 7 months of GM work I got like 2 free 30 day RMs and like 2000 points which I just used to run comps anyways so no real pay involved. Oh and if you are a WL and enter & win any competition people say it was rigged. Middleman: Basically just a colored name, people constantly ask you to help in swaps and u can't if being a world leader was being a super hero middleman gets batmans super powers only w/o the belt... you get nothing! Entertainer... Sounds good you throw a bunch of comps right? Wrong... most of that comes out of your pocket, and on top of that people bitch about your competitions sucking. Forum Moderator... You get to control the forums sounds good? Ya it is until you decide to lock a thread and called corrupt, then delete a thread and called corrupt again, then you move a thread to the right section people bitch "Where did my thread go?" Some times another staff did something and u are blamed. You edit profanity out and one person complains you are abusing your powers, you do not edit it out and another complains it is not a family atmosphere you can not make everyone happy, and have to balance it with a light touch. Game Moderator: All the bad things that are FM are the same as a GM, but now there is even more things. You are basically doing the admins dirty work you have to be the "bad guy" you have to do a lot of account swaps and have to explain everything to both parties and if one of them gets screwed over like in the "darwin situation" you may create a monster. Then you have a legacy of corrupt mods who were corrupt before you that make you look bad for instance JeremyC glitching points(banned), or money bunny selling his in game currency for RL cash (banned), Spidey Advertising (banned), Tek scamming on banners... or me being just going crazy b/c of all the bullshit I see going on... you get the picture why it sucks yet? Then finally we have~ The admins: Sound good, you got a little cash cow of a game and don't pay people to do your work for you sweet deal? Well... no not really, server fees cost a lot of money, then you put an insane amount of hours into coding the game. Any staff that are corrupt on your watch you are accountable for. Everyone complains to you about everything... Then there are conspiracy theories about you and allowing glitchers like kid frost back in the day to up point sales, you have no way of disproving this as an admin and people will either look at you as "ignorant for not knowing of such things for so long" or think "you were in on it". either way you don't look good... Then there is the recode I have not even touched on... imagine being brad spending months and months working on something to improve our game play just to have a ton of players bitching and quitting over it. Then there is the in game economy that is totally out of control because of drug dealers making players who have been playing a long time impossible to catch for a new player without spending what they could have used to buy a car. To sum it up being a world leader is not easy and not all about fun. |

| i agree with most of the stuff you just said frankie but who gives a shit when your WL you get to run the game how you want it run and it makes it more exciting and more challanging for you. if people dont find a challange fun then there retarded and should be playing any games. |
