Do you think your art teacher would of told you (or any of their students who weren't gifted) 'you're really bad at this, I suggest you give it up' that they'd still be getting paid every month? No they wouldn't.
It's all about the money... which by the way, is another meaning for composition... 'amount of money paid' - Your art teacher has an excellent eye for it ![]() Actually a teacher WOULD still get paid for that. It's a teachers JOB to guide a student, especially in college. If it's something the student isn't cut out for then it's the teachers responsibility to say something. It's also their responsibility to point out weaknesses and strengths in whatever they are learning. So yes...actually a teacher WOULD stay that and still make money. |

You mean the point where you were wrong? Composition is not amount of money paid. That's COMPENSATION. |

| Dictionary.com is about as reliable as Urban Dictionary. Try Merriam Webster. I believe it to be much more reliable. And was the whole point of your post to point out that the teacher only does it for money and decided to use a word like 'composition' knowing it's multiple meanings? I think not. |

Well you are the one who came out with this... Malicious wrote:

As I say, when you're ready to stop failing, just stop posting ![]() The point I made is that if the art teacher told their students what they really thought their work was like, not very many would actually have students. So lack of students, lack of art teachers. I shouldn't have to explain this... |

| But that's where your wrong. An art teacher SHOULD tell students which is what I was saying. They need to point out strengths and weaknesses. It's their JOB. Students take it and learn from it or quit. But there will always be students. So...your still wrong. What the teacher said was more then likely the truth. He's good with composition. Since you're NOT an art teacher I assume...you can't really be a judge now can you? |

Perhaps I am not an art teacher, but I did enough of it in school to know that takk is not very good, and simply full of himself because some dipshit art teacher gave him a false compliment. And since you are not an art teacher either, what makes your opinion any better than mine? ![]() Perhaps Takk does have an eye for good composition, but he sure as hell can't produce it himself. Back to the art teachers job.... as I say, less students = less need for art teachers... if they tell everyone who is crap, that they should quit, less people will study art and less teachers will be required. I swear to fucking god if I have to explain this to your stupid ass once more i'll have to jack off to some asian pr0n. |

| Calm down Spaz. I get what you're saying but you're still wrong. Yes if teachers told students what they thought some would quit.I stated very clearly some will learn or some will quit but there will ALWAYS be more waiting to get in and learn. So there would not be less students and thus, no jobs. Because there are always more that are growing and wanting to learn. SOOOOOOO YOU'RE WRONG. Spaz. Go watch porn. |

| If more students quit, there will be less students. With so many drop outs, less people will enroll for it. (Why do I have to state the obvious to you so blatantly and you still don't grasp it?) Maths was never your strong point, but it is for me... so let's stop there ![]() |

| Mali has a good point, there will always be people out there wanting to do art even if people before them have been shot down. |
[Γ] Waluigi![]() [inactive] Post Count: 1 Respect: 174 | 26 Jan 2011 01:46pm |
| And those wanting to do it but previously couldn't... why couldn't they in the first place? Will it all go back to the art teacher telling them to quit because they're not good enough? Probably! |
