Do you think your art teacher would of told you (or any of their students who weren't gifted) 'you're really bad at this, I suggest you give it up' that they'd still be getting paid every month? No they wouldn't.

Actually a teacher WOULD still get paid for that. It's a teachers JOB to guide a student, especially in college. If it's something the student isn't cut out for then it's the teachers responsibility to say something. It's also their responsibility to point out weaknesses and strengths in whatever they are learning. So yes...actually a teacher WOULD stay that and still make money.

You mean the point where you were wrong? Composition is not amount of money paid. That's COMPENSATION.

But that's where your wrong. An art teacher SHOULD tell students which is what I was saying. They need to point out strengths and weaknesses. It's their JOB. Students take it and learn from it or quit. But there will always be students. So...your still wrong. What the teacher said was more then likely the truth. He's good with composition. Since you're NOT an art teacher I assume...you can't really be a judge now can you?
