i agree the "i need points from ADVERTISING to MC" or vice versa rule needs to be repealed, as luca said it only hurts the game and diminishes gameplay, but hey what do i know, i've only been playing here for a day and it's not like i play any other mc servers other then mc2 |

| Lets see how can I put this brad... I'll make a few people up and tell you what they may do. Lets say "Bob" logs in every day to play MC. He is on several hours a day and very active also a hitman, he will probably take the house with the awake bonus so as to train more often. Bob picks up the slack from his reduced DD by playing another game in which he does dailys on. He spends more and more time on the other games building accounts there... and makes accounts on tons of servers to keep up he no longer plays MC nearly as much b/c he builds accounts every place. Is this what you want of Bob? Next player up is "Mike" Mike is a very hard core player who has a MASSIVE level and donates to maintain his account, and plays all the time. He decides to also go with the awake bonus house... Mike is a defense players and has a huge level to back it up, like bob he also plays other games to make more points, but he really works hard at his MC account making his Defense out of reach... nobody can touch him nobody tries. Mike gets so far ahead and discourages other players from trying to be competitive b/c he is so far beyond everyone it is not worth the effort, guys like Bob don't bother playing competitively anymore b/c Mike and guys like Mike are too strong to compete with. Mike decides he don't need to donate so much anymore b/c he is so far past everyone. Is this what you want of Mike? Third guy will be "Timmy", Timmy is a high level bunny, and just collects his DD every day... Timmy takes the more DD option b/c stats don't matter to him. This change simply adds more money to Timmy who was already rich in the first place, Timmy gets richer no downside for Timmy. Is this what you want of Timmy? Fourth player is "Greg" Greg is a non-payer, greg has terrible stats compared to a respectable hitman, but is strong enough to murder any bunny or bunny pet combo. Greg normally spends a lot of time in the hospital, but now he chose the more DD option so he can buy out and hit more bunnies more often, Greg likes the change he becomes more active. The bunnies like Timmy don't mind the increase in non-payers like Greg to much b/c they are compensated by the increase in DD. Is this what you want of Greg? The Fifth person is "Dave" Dave is a hitman on another game, but a mid level bunny on MC who decided to go with the DD boost. Dave likes to trade all his points and money on MC over to his other game to feed his hitman main account on the other game. Dave plays MC just as much as he had before no more no less however now he has more points and more money to trade over to his main game. Is this what you want of Dave? |

Nicely put frankie!! as for bob, people using paypal have always had an advantage over those who dont but that doesn't mean its impossible, take my word for it traders = happy community and helps the little guys and non paypal users non payers with money for certs = activity +1 frankie dont we have beef? |

Ok...so you're getting on to the "no advertising" rule.
I don't personally see it as "going against logical business sense" to remove people wishing to advertise other games. That would only make sense if the admins refused to advertise competing games to the non RM players. Kinda like a pot kettle situation there am I right? It is a "Do as I say not as I do" kind of logic that should not be the way it is. It should be "lead by example" In order to be taken more seriously you should stop advertising other games yourself... And on a side note all together I think trying to stop advertising is impossible and you know it, a lot of innocent people have suffered from this. For example people trying to trade from other games getting banned for saying the other game name. If an advertiser wanted to advertise they would use a proxy to make a new account when you IP ban them. Then use another proxy, and another and another in an endless string of IP bans no way to really stop a player like that. What would you do if a person did this twice a day for a week? Could you stop them? No so why make a futile effort, just make it so people can advertise in off-topic if they want. Oh and then there is the fact people have MSN, Yahoo, other IM's and email addresses. If a person wanted to advertise all they need to do is send a message externally to a person... Money Bunny for example did this got hundreds of players for his game... you didn't know he was doing this b/c it was all on MSN hell you even made the guy a Game Moderator until I brought it to molez attention he was also selling in game currency for money and got him stripped of GM and banned...(woulda talked to you about it but you never answer PMs shame you have not learned to listen to me by now) but that is not important... I was thinking, you can't stop advertising so why try? Hear me out... Think about it... If you ALLOW advertising in the Off-topic section of the forums you know what this may do? It may get some of your players on these other games hell you may lose a few but they were not that loyal to begin with then now were they? You know what some of these players might do? Play the other game, make a friend bring them back to MC and MC gets a new player who brings some friends along! Are you worried about losing business from advertising? Do you think competing games are better than MC? Don't think like that just make your game better than the competing game! and you won't have to worry about it! |

| You should be able to choose one of the three options because type 3 would favor hitmen and type 2 would favor bunnies since they don't need a higher awake. |
