| you are correct at the moment..but this server is over 1500 days old..at some time it must have made money? we need the updates to get people back , and reasons for new people to come here..that is what this thread is about  |

| they're not making money off this game, and I won't ever pay a dime for this game. However, it's a good server still no matter what. They should get rid of the 10 min rule and maybe lower it to 3 minutes instead(just an option). I'm all for everything else mentioned above. keep the shanking option for the prison. If I come up with anything drastic I'll be sure to post here. I'd hate to see this server shutdown. |

Who in there right mind will pay to play a game that's never updated and left for dead by the owners. It's the owners fault cause they are so lazy, if they want a better game THEY need to make it better. Simple really. |

| i wouldnt want to lose this server but if the fact that mc2 WILL change for the better this should be advertised on m1 - thats where the hardcore players are and they will come back to this server - ask them what they would like on here, they know what works and what doesnt on mc1. the cash and points needs sorting on here maybe x10? open up trading between the 2 but with a cap on how much each player can trade each day/week/month - how about a loyalty scheme, the more hours spent playing on here could result in freebies etc what happened to poker on mc1? bring it on here there was loads of interest rearding it |

| one really radical idea that i think would work well alongside 10X stats for those outside hof is to reset everyone's level to 1. they keep their current house and stats. Another thought to get new players in is to cut the value of every house after a new one is released by 50% so that people who can't fight at the top are much more able to get respectably near it. |

| tbh, I don't think the resetting the level idea would work very well, the players with top stats would end up warding all accounts for the minor 50 exp they get just to level. Having players perm-warded probably isn't the best idea when trying to bring a game back. lol (This has been proven each time an MC server was first released - and it's not just MC with this problem in the beginning) As stated in the first post, we were thinking of slashing top house prices down to what the MC1 normal ones were (or close too it) Top house may end up being 2bil or a little less (1.5bil cheaper then normal) |

| Send out an email to all former players, and offer a welcome back bonus, such as 2k points, mid-level house, an RM pack or something. Also, it would be worth making the game easier for a while when trying to rebuild the player base, make crimes and busts more likely to succeed, and as you mentioned, make it possible to bust from any city. The whole x10 thing will not bring people back, same shit different game. Although a small bonus to training for a short time like I mentioned above would motivate players to come back. Everything needs to be subtle, both in the 'bring back' campaign and after. I reckon if emails were sent out offering a few free points for coming back and there was a x2 training/exp bonus for 2 weeks or so, increasing to x4 for a further 2 weeks and then winding down to x2, then to normal again, everyone would be happy. If it went from normal to x10 to normal people would just leave again. Anyway, all the best with getting the game back on track, but it is a tricky business, the mafia games are already overdone. A mass email is a must, it's the only reason I came back to MC1 (Vaseline) |

| why not make it little like server gie more incentives like down search and more points when u vote? can make coke houses where u hire hookers to work naked bc they cant be trusted with clothes on, then u hire goons to push ur products all while ur the kingpin u still have a chance of ur house being raid by the DEA and come up with some jail time or something cool maybe it gets raid of all equipment, maybe cops break it flip it upside down lol |
