I think MC2 is a ready for a revolution of sorts. This thread is a critical look at bunnies, and a refutation of some of the most prevalent arguments in support of them being paid. Bunnies are generous people who are trying to help us level! No, they aren't. If they were really doing it to help us all, they would be free. In all honesty, they're doing it because it's the easiest way to make a buck on this game. Most bunnies are greedy and rude, and the few that aren't are still in it for the profit. Bunnies need points to level for us! Not true. Most bunnies save their money so that they can become some of the most powerful hitmen later. The fact that some bunnies have Large Islands and 100 million+ speed should raise a red flag. Others trade their money to other games to feed hitmen accounts. A few gamble their points away, and almost all of them spend an inordinate amount paying for hits on people who don't pay. Bunnies are providing a valuable service! Sorry, but still no. The only reason we need bunnies is because we have bunnies. If there weren't bunnies, we wouldn't need to get to such ridiculous levels. This is a circular argument. It would be equivalent to arguing that the loser in a championship game should get a reward because the winner couldn't have won without them losing. It's not fair to hit without paying! Really? This is a mafia game, not Imaginary Friends Like Totally Awesome Tea Party Online. The entire purpose of the game is to hit, mug, and intimidate people to ruin their gameplay to gain an advantage; there's nothing "fair" about it. The biggest asshole is the winner here. Morality is irrelevant. Bunnies are a crucial part of MC's economy! Cancer treatment is a major part of most real life economies, but does that mean cancer is good? Certainly not. And considering that economies are fueled by spending, not saving, bunnies are actually a detriment to the MC economy. Most of them are hoarding money, rather than putting it to any economic use. Bunnies are good people! The few bunnies that are good people are the exception, not the rule. Need proof? Conduct your own experiment. Hit a bunny without paying and see what "friendly" responses you'll get. Can you really define someone whose business slogan is "pay me or die fag" as friendly? Discuss.

Cant really argue with any of that as in my opinion 99.9% is true. But you are missing one factor Darwin, and that is personal opinion of the hitter of the bunny. i believe that it is still a service, whether they are out for there own gain or not. for example. You are hungry! you need sustanance, you pass a Sandwich makers shop, you go in pay for the sandwich you require, you eat the sandwich and you receive the nourishment you require. Now the sandwich maker isn't there for you, he is there to make a living, to feed his own needs and wants. so he provides a service for you, for which you pay a fee. Everyone receives what they need and are happy. But obviously if the sandwich provided is out of date, poorly made, over priced or just tastes bad. so you complain and if the situation isnt rectified, you go else where in future and that sandwich maker loses your custom. So basically bunnies are exactly the same, trying to make a living whilst providing what you need, its up to them what quality of service you receive and up to you whether you use that service they provide again. but that is just my humble opinion..
