it's a weed you can grow your own :p

that's the thing everyone grows in cali, the cops don't even care about most having it unless they wanna throw the book at you.

so really I think people would grow their own, and prices would change drastically it would be ridiculously cheaper.

and people could now make things from the hemp stocks.

I'm really proud... To see an educated argument and not a mud slinging contest... cause mudslinging is only good with girls in a kiddie pool

the first point, is stupid, maybe because I'm 26 and am not effected by it,

Dude. You're 26 and can't spell affected.

And I just had a clinic 2 days ago telling me to vote yes, no. Just no to everything you said on all accounts, I don't even need to read it to know you're wrong.

they actually expect a price DROP, if the price increased, noone would buy the state stuff and would keep getting it from their current grower/dealer.

Currently quality strains of medical marijuana sell for $50-65/eighth of an ounce. An ounce can range from $350-$400. If this becomes legal they are expecting the price of an ounce of marijuana to plummet to $65. That is great news for patients. However, this is going to kill all that anticipated tax revenue that prop 19 proponents expect.

That is taken from many sources, but the news is still outstanding.

why would it increase? more supply would be made.

so prices would drop and they want to take down street sales, so lowering prices is a good way to do so for them.

What your gonna have is a ton of shitty weed cheap and people specializing making trophy buds that sell for tons, or people will start baking and making concentrates.

however!! they might wanna ban concentrates as they look at them harsher then buds. :(

That one's backwards, you can't catch me dead in Smell A. You mean you trust everything you hear from them where there's at least 3 clinics per city block? Or compared to the 3 storefronts in my city, where the staff takes time to learn their shit to the wire so they can provide a quality service not jump in on a cash-cow and open their own OG Kush factory in Hollywood.

I'd give you my adress so you can come test your might, but I don't want you to get lost and end up in Mexico with no way to get back. And I live nowhere near Mexico.

Hopefully not only states will follow suit,
Hopefully countries worldwide would get on it and end this shit,
Here in Ireland the weed is of very low quality we need regulation and taxation to make things fairer for everyone.

This Proposition 19 will be very close, hard to say if it will pass or not. I will be voting No.
But there are different groups with different ideas about it.
1. first off is there will be a higher turnout of republicans and independents this cycle, makes you think it will fail do to conservatives, but...
2. libertarians both republican and independent believe that it is your right to put whatever you want in your body and that all drugs should be legal.
3. democrats are nutty so most vote yes.
4. drug growers both support and oppose Prop 19.
5. cops are also split over prop 19.
6. religious conservatives and a few religious democrats vote against it.
7. younger generation doesnt give a fuck, so why not yes
8. people are worried about the effects that legalizing will have on californias money they get from the feds. due to weed still being illegal according to the feds. so they vote no to save their pork money.
9. the governor of california has already signed a bill into law making posession of up to an ounce only an infraction with a $100 fine if caught. plus the bill is poorly written

Hard to predict the outcome of this proposition... there has been little resistance to the proposition that can be seen when you turn on your television. So it is up in the air. but when the polls close in less than 12 days and the votes are counted we will see if marijuana is legal in california in less than 2 weeks.

On one hand- it's backsdtabbing DEA and feds... on the other one- it;'s a great thing that people who are using marijuana will be able to use it just like others are using beers and cigarettes.

There is one question that i didn't saw here posted: Are people ready to legalize it? Are people aware of all its pros and cons?
Because you know... you have to tech people about it.

You can give me an example of Netherlands... But it's not that bright overthere you know? They have problems with it. Bigger ones and smaller ones. But they have. The next question is: will California be able to handle them?
