ok we got up, district 9, up in the air (just watched it......it was ok, nothing really happens in it though), precious, avatar, inglorious basterds, the hurt locker, an education, the blind side and a serios man. Jesus thats a lot of movies but anyways.... id like avatar to win, but i see the hurt locker taking it. i havent seen it yet but it seems when a war movie is up for best picture it takes it. plus theres yet to be a real good movie about iraq yet so thats what i would put my money on. district 9 was good but i was surprised to see it nominated. idk its just not the kinda movie you would expect to see up for that kind of award, same with inglorious basterds. didnt see precious either so who know about that...if anyone has id enjoy your feed back. same with an education and a serious man those are the only other ones i havent gotten around to watching.

avatar even know it was a little cartoon-ish at first, it was groundbreaking. i really dug it i thought that district 9 was overrated bigtime..its ok if you can make it past the first 20-25 minutes of documentary style filming...but it was tough making it past that...like watching bad msnbc. didnt see the others yet. Inglorious basterds looked cheesy on the previews but i have it in my netflix que..and i have wanted to watch hurt locker also but havent heard good shit about it
