One-thousand (1,000) points will be awarded to the first person who can identify all five of the grammatical errors in the following passage, which I have written: Three dead men in a cemetary; one was a soldier, one was a postman, and one was a forester. Each died of old age, although, this age differed for them all. At the age of seventy five, the soldier died--youngest and bravest of the three. At the age of eighty the postman died peacefully. There weren't sufficient tree rings to speak of the longevity of the old forester. Their's was the cold earth, and nothing more. Good luck. ![]()

I'm seeing more than 5. Duck and I agree that there are so many gramatical issues that it's difficult to figure out exactly what is being said.

In order to efficiently convey ideas, everyone must agree on common rules for conveying (grammar). Imagine trying to explain math to someone using made up symbols, while they understood math in numerals. |

I saw a picture about the importance of proper comma usage recently. "Let's eat grandpa!" "Let's eat, grandpa!" ^Each of these is conveying a completely different message.

Three dead men lie in a cemetary: a soldier, a postman, and a forester. Each man had died of old age, although the ages differed for them all. The soldier died, at the age of seventy five; youngest and bravest of the three. The postman died peacefully, at the age of eighty. There weren't sufficient tree rings to speak to the age of the old forester. Theirs was the cold earth and nothing more. Though I'm not sure what the "theirs was the cold earth, and nothing more." is supposed to mean.

Freedom of speech, talk however the fuck you want, even the best system is not perfect and has double entendre so fuck it. It is just a way the establishment keeps everyone down by teaching kids in school dumb shit like grammar and not shit that might be important like I don't know having a gold standard on money? So that money is value, not debt.
