| So there's not as many bets up nowadays. What makes more sense? That it's because people learned their lesson and stopped losing points or that the game is dying? Yes.. it's dying which is why the server got a recode and Molez has been working very hard to bring us improvements and new options. So which is it would you say? Lessons learned, or dying server? |

Dying server defo!!! I know I learned my lesson about 50/50 after I lost about 25k points in a week1. |

| People will never learn their lesson about gambling. In real life or on the internet. |

| Darwin: How do you explain people that quit gambling then because they know it's a problem? Gamblers Anonymous? Which has worked for millions? |

Doesn't sound like lesson learned. Agree to Darwin... But i don't think this game is dying... maybe people are too broke for gambling |

| The server isn't broke as a whole. Most people are loaded with points. They're using them to train or level or they're paying bunnies for rentals. Or they're investing in banners or transferring. They've got better things to do then waste them on 50/50 and most know this and don't play. The game isn't dying in the least. In fact it's flourishing. |

| Sure it is. The rebuild their lives and if they don't do it again, lesson learned. It's if they rebuild their lives and THEN do it again that the lesson is lost. But there is such a thing as learning one. |

| Quote by Hai Yushi normally the rich people don't gamble... i mostly see bunnies or low level players doing this Bunnies are usually not hurting for points so much Hai. And low levels do it because it's addicting. lol. Eventually they learn if they want to level and train they need to save their points and put it towards the right stuff. Which was my point. |

| No, you're not getting what I'm saying... They stop gambling because they're literally broke and have nothing left to gamble. Very few people overcome gambling addictions. |
| Tank [inactive] Post Count: 0 Respect: -1 | 11 Oct 2010 04:45am |
| I get what you're saying. Do you understand what I'm saying? They DO learn a lesson if they rebuild their lives and stop. Just because they're broke does not make it the end. There is always the ability to pick up. |
[G~P] Killa Massacre![]() [inactive] Post Count: 5 Respect: 205 | 11 Oct 2010 04:47am |
| People don't rebuild their lives after gambling addiction. They spend the rest of their lives trying to repay debts, and probably end up dying homeless without a dime. There aren't millions of people who overcome gambling addictions, there are thousands at most. |
| Tank [inactive] Post Count: 0 Respect: -1 | 11 Oct 2010 04:51am |
| You obviously have never been to a meeting hall or known anyone with a gambling addiction. If you did you'd know that many nowadays do not end up broke and penniless or homeless due to interventions and treatment for the problem. So your statement is incorrect. Extremely so. |
| Tank [inactive] Post Count: 0 Respect: -1 | 11 Oct 2010 04:52am |
| They may be paying back debts, but they're hardly dying alone and penniless. |

| sorry to say this Mal... but i think Darwin is right. really gambling addicts just don't stop gambling from one moment to the other. Normally they must lose everything until they realize. And even then it's not sure that they really learned from it. I know a former gambling addict. He lost over 20thousand Euro and he still pays for it. His wife left him, he lives by social wellfare and has no real good future. He learned from it for sure... but he learned to late. And it takes years until he even think about a better life. |
[G~P] Killa Massacre![]() [inactive] Post Count: 5 Respect: 205 | 11 Oct 2010 04:55am |
| I know a lot of people who had gambling addictions. They're piss poor and always seem to be 3 days away from losing their house, car, etc. And the moment they finally get something saved up in their name, they're right back to their old ways. |
