Don't do any trades without staff. Reece pops up like a zit on the ass of MC. He'll pop up whenever the fuck he wants and we can't always stop him before he scams some of you. Players keep forgetting to use their brains. If you don't have a brain, borrow one from a friend. Use the following steps to make sure you never get hacked/scammed. 1.) Please make sure your password is secure and use the password strength checker which can be found here: http://game2.mafiacrime.org/account?p=password 2.) Always use a GM or an Admin when you're selling or trading accounts - USE staff even when doing points/cash/item trades! 3.) NEVER give out any information (your email/facebook/name/password etc) 4.) Don't be rushed into doing anything without staff (or be too rushed to think clearly) - most scams occur when the person says they "need to go" and are trying to rush you into doing what they want. 5.) Use #help chat for all trades. Other channels are a surefire sign of the person wanting to avoid staff. 6.) this guy knew to send a message via adding me to his profile fo ra new acct? suss as claimed to be a buissness man with money waaiting to buy accts. perhaps we all need to sign a waver or something we all read this anti scamming notices right and yet some peeps still falling hook line sinker for it?? |
