Having a server supported transfer button is not in and of itself a terrible idea or unworkable, it would just be tricky to do. Basically the server would be the middle man for a transaction, and charge a fee for the work. How would the transfer work? You click the TRANSFER button You enter the ID number of the person you want to trade with on mc1 and his account here You select from a pull down menu what you want to trade, and enter the quantity (there would be a minimum amount for the transaction) You click next The server fee is displayed beside the details of your trade You click proceed with trade The server takes those points/items/cash from your inventory The server deducts its fee in cash from your bank (seperate from the traded items/cash) The other person is sent a notification on this server and clicks agree after confirming his account id on mc so this side of the trade is completed and you have to wait for the MC server side trade to be performed in exactly the same way Now actual mechanics of how it would work. The mc2 server has a trading pool, I see it working pretty much as a gang vault works when you buy something from it, points cash items go into it, the stuff cant be mugged/stolen There will be a new staff position - Trader when the trade is performed, a ticket is generated detailing what the trade was The same person will then go to mc and check the tickets there If there is a trade with the same details then the traded items are sent over to the respective accounts and the ticket is closed (cash would go directly to the persons bank) This ticket provides a written record in case of disputes At any time during the trade either party can cancel the trade, but the server handling fee is non refundable for the cancelled trade |

Or through the magic of php and SQL you could automate the whole thing without the trader staff member and vuala. |
